Finally spring has come, and your new life at Kangaku has begun.  How do you feel?  I'm so happy the cold weather is finished (I hate winter).  In spring I feel optimistic and positive.

What did you do in the spring vacation?  I went on a business trip (for a teacher's conference) in Cambodia in February.  Cambodia is a fairly poor country, but it is developing fast now.  It has a great tradition and interesting culture, and the people are kind and friendly.  The people are still in mourning for the king who died last year, which is why the palace in Phnom Penh (see photo) is lit up at night.

Apart from that I just spent time with my family around Kansai.  My daughter is 3 years old and very playful.  This photo was taken at the front of our house in Takatsuki.
