Autumn

Temperatures are dropping, so autumn is really here now. We've started eating hot pot (nabe) at home already. What have you been doing lately?  Did you go to the school festival? What did you do there? Actually, I didn't go this year.  One day I played golf in Ohara with friends, and another day I went to a friend's housewarming party.  He and his wife bought a house net to Lake Biwa, so they had a barbecue there and invited friends to celebrate.

How does this time of year make you feel? Do you have any plans to go and check out the autumn leaves this year? If you want to see some good autumn scenes, one of my favorite places is Tofuku-ji temple in Kyoto. I'd recommend you see it sometime. This photo is one of the most famous views. Have you been there?

Yoshimine temple, near Muko, is also worth checking out. You can see views of Kyoto city from the side of the mountain. Do you have any favorite places for seeing the autumn leaves?

  1. Wow! Beautiful landscape!
When I was a high school student, I visited Kyoto in autumn for my school trip.
I'm going to visit there again to see some temples with beautiful autumn leaves. I'm looking forward to writhe a blog about it!

    1. I guess you'll enjoy it more this time, now that you can go with just a small group of best friends. There are so many good places to choose from up there!

  2. I've never been there, so I want to go sometimes!
I like the view in Kobe as much as that in Kyoto, because we can see both the beach and moutains turning red and yellow.

    1. I know it's nice on top of Mt. Rokko. I was there with my family in summer, but I'd like to take a walk there in autumn. This year I'm going to suggest Mino Falls, because I haven't been there yet.
